During the summer season, numerous manual tasks are performed on the vineyard: disbudding, raking, vine shaping, drainage/running off, pruning, trimming and cropping. Each touch induces a passage of the winemaker, as the vines adore the working hands of man. The more they are pampered, the more they give. By the 14th of July, the grapes hang. The berries grow and weigh down the bunch, making them bend to take their renowned shape.
During this period, about 3 hoeings are done on the land parcels to assure cleanliness and to boost land fertility.
All this meticulous work reassures a quality harvest.
